Padmanabhaswamy Temple

The temple is a replica of the Adikesava Perumal temple  located in Kanyakumari. It is the richestHindu temple  in the world.The principal deity Vishnu is enshrined in the "Anantha Sayanam" posture, the eternal yogic sleep on the serpent Adisheshan.

Shangumugham Beach

Shankumugham Beach is  in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, south India. The beach is on the western side of Thiruvananthapuram city and very near to Trivandrum International Airport.

The sculpture of Jalakanyaka - Mermaid by Kanayi Kunhiraman is an added attraction. This giant statue is more than 35m long.

 Poovar  island is a small coastal village in the Trivandrum district of Kerala state, South India.This village is almost at the southern tip of Trivandrum  while the next village, Pozhiyur, marks the end of Kerala. This village has a beautiful beach which attracts tourists.


Thiruvallam is about six km south of the city, on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kovalam road. There is an ancient temple here on the banks of the Karamana River, which is dedicated to the Trimurthis of the Hindu pantheon. A shrine of Parasurama, built entirely of granite is found in this temple. Thiruvallam is also known for its natural backwater.

Neyyattinkara is an ancient town, situated about 20 km south-east of Thiruvananthapuram city.The SreeKrishna Swamy temple, founded by King Marthanda Varma, is of historical importance. The temple is situated beside the bank of Neyyar River.

Kovalam Beach

This international beach, 12 km south of Thiruvananthapuram city, is one of the finest beaches in India. A high rocky promontory jutting into the sea has created a beautiful bay of calm waters for sea bathing.
